Not the way you're thinking. Wild Irish venison is lean, clean and naturally rich, closer to good beef than anything you'd describe as game. Seasoned with garlic, black pepper or chilli, it's deeply savoury and moreish. Most first-timers are surprised how approachable it is.
What's actually in it?
88-91% wild Irish venison depending on flavour, plus salt, spices and a natural curing system. That's it. No soy protein isolate, no sugar syrups, no sweeteners, no artificial preservatives, no ingredients you need to Google.
Is it ultra-processed?
No. Charge is made the old way, cured, seasoned and slow-dehydrated. It's a real meat product with a short, honest ingredient list.
What's the texture like?
Soft-bite and satisfying, not tough or chewy like some jerky. Each twin-stick pack is easy to eat on the move without mess or effort.
How long does it last?
Charge has a verified 12-month ambient shelf life, unopened. No fridge ever needed.
Where does the venison come from?
From wild deer herds in Ireland, ethically and sustainably sourced. Wild venison is free-ranging and not intensively farmed.

Is it keto or low-carb friendly?
Yes. Under 3g carbohydrates and under 1g sugar per pack. Charge fits keto, low-carb and high-protein routines without compromise.
Is it gluten-free?
Charge contains no gluten-containing ingredients. We have not tested to certified gluten-free standards, so if you have coeliac disease please check with us before ordering.
Is it dairy-free?
Charge contains no dairy ingredients. Always check the label if you have a milk allergy.
Is it good for training or sport?
Charge is a practical high-protein food that fits easily around training. 15g protein per pack, low calorie, low carb, portable and shelf-stable.
Why does it cost more than a protein bar?
Because the main ingredient is wild Irish venison, not sugar, soy isolate and vegetable oil. Real meat from real animals costs more than synthetic filler.
